LOVE THE BADGER DANCE
Badgers Unite Against the Cull!
Parliament Square- Trafalgar Square
Sunday 21st October 2012
Dress Code: Dress as a Badger! Black and white clothes & badger mask- (download attached)Hello Badger friends,To show the government how much this country LOVES it’s beautiful wild and wonderful creatures, we, The Artful Badgers, are leading a series of dance for all to join in Parliament sq at noon on Sunday the 21st Oct dressed as a badger! Don your black and white garments and make your self a badger mask! You can get feral and join the dance (no training required) or simply watch the fun. Bring your kids, bring your granny and bring most importantly bring your badger! We love our badgers, and we know you do too! They are a unique and wonderful animal and we don’t want to see them blanket culled! Badgers don’t need to be killed!! During the cull in Wales data showed that in some areas only 3 out of 60 badgers culled were infected, which is just heartbreaking. Surely they could be tested first? On Sunday the 21st we will be representing the badger population of the UK!
Our message is simple:
WE ARE BADGERS. THE PEOPLE LOVE US! HELP US, DONT KILL US!
Dancers, artists, musicians and entertainers: come and jon us in making this a fun event in celebration of badgers!
Volunteers: We will need volunteers help steward and collect names for the petition.
Speakers: if you have something to say then please come and speak!
Vets: We need information! – can badgers be tested before culling? How much would it cost? Would vets volunteer or give competitive quote compared to the hunters, to work with the farmers to do this?
Please message us to get involved. xx
In the mean time please sign the petition on HM Government website:
