“Two days of protest outside the Japanese Embassy in London against the slaughter of dolphins in Taiji, Japan. I created this event for everyone to be able to give a preference on what dates they would be able to attend 🙂 I know we did something on Save Japan Dolphins Day but I know a lot of people couldn’t make it. Bring your posters! (Try to make the images as big as possible! This way people from far away will be able to see them)

I’m thinking of getting some inflatable dolphins and splattering them in fake blood to place in front of the embassy. Diary of Events leading up to Days of Action – Source – Sea Shepherd Cove Guardians   (I will update this daily for you – Rose)

3oth October – After being held captive in the killing cove overnight, 15 pilot whales were murdered this morning. 14 large adult pilot whales were brutally slaughtered for meat and 1 baby pilot whale drowned after struggling in the nets…her mother was near her and witnessed her struggle. She remained at the side of the cove grieving for hours after. The remaining pod of approximately 80-90 remains captive in the Cove for a 2nd night and is scheduled to be slaughtered in the morning. These whales witnessed their family members killed one by one and were forced to swim in their blood after the slaughter..now they await their own fate.

31st October – it seems that the remaining whales are being unceremoniously driven back out to sea. This would be because Taiji has reached its whale quota so has to release these poor traumatised creatures.
