The latest from the Cove Guardians on the ground at Taiji :

The photo above is of a Bottlenose Dolphin calf taken from last week’s captures and transferred to Dolphin Base, Taiji. It now shares a very small sea pen with 5 other larger dolphins- 4 of those dolphins come from a completely different pod and have been at Dolphin Base for at least a few years…”

“This morning, we’ve been monitoring the captive Bottlenose Dolphins that were taken from within the killing cove just last week here in Taiji. Many of them are being underfed as they are having trouble adjusting to a completely foreign life in captivity, eating dead fish and living without their mothers and other family members.”
