The heartbreaking picture above was taken by Sea Shepherd Cove Guardians at Taiji earlier today. They reported :

1 Bottlenose Dolphin was transferred from the Taiji Harbour sea pens into a truck destined for local captive facility, the Taiji Whale Museum, which currently holds dozens of dolphins and small whales, sourced from the slaughters within the cove.

During the transfer, the terrified dolphin was harnessed into a sling and craned into the back of a truck- the sling cutting into its’ pectoral fins as blood poured down…

The Gaze

Capturer and Captive see eye to eye. I wonder what thoughts were transferred.  Whilst the demand is there, this tragic practice will continue.  If you buy a ticket for a dolphin show you are aiding and abetting the Taiji Drive hunts. Please think deeply. Is it that important to you to go to a dolphin show?
