“We need your help to share this pic and expose the foul start to a life in captivity experienced by a #Taiji dolphin to as many people as possible.

We watched this poor guy swim backwards and forwards in front of his “cell window” staring out to what he must have sensed was a more natural world but no longer able to shake off his dependency on the medicine-laced dead fish which have become his staple diet.

He is held in an open sea pen which captures all the human rubbish dumped where it can get into the ocean including the most hated marine menace of all, the plastic bag.

His oh so clever trainers have taught him to recover this rubbish which we then watched him deliver to their waiting hands before he was given his morning meal.”
